It's been forever since I've posted, and a year has gone by with all sorts of crazy shiz going on. I graduated from high school and started college, had the summer of my life camping and hiking. Visited all the national parks in Washington and summitted my first mountain! (or peak, I guess...)
But despite all those things, at the end of every year I never feel like I've lived that year to the fullest, but I guess I've still got the rest of my life to do that.
This year I'm going to try to not flip out about school every other day. I have to accept that I'm doing the best I can, and trust that in the end that everything will work out. I'll stop seeing people as who they are at face value, but appreciate that most people have a genuinely wonderful aspects about them, and it just takes a bit of cracking to get them out of their shell.
I definitely want to go running more, nothing else is as effective of a stress reliever as running. Especially at sunrise! I want to go for a sunrise jog around Lake Washington, hopefully I'll have the energy to wake up that early...
